COOKIE POLICY

How we use them and how you can manage them

1) WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small files placed in users' browsers when they visit our website. Cookies only collect anonymous information, and do not allow access to users' computers or any personal information.

2) WHAT ARE COOKIES FOR?

Cookies help determine the usefulness, interest and number of uses of our website, enabling faster, more efficient browsing and removing the need to enter the same information repeatedly.

3) COOKIE DURATION

Session cookies: these are temporary, remain in the user's browser until they leave the website, and allow OURVIEW to obtain statistical information about user behaviour during the visit.

Persistent cookies: these are stored in the user's browser until they are deleted or expire, and are used each time the user visits the website again in order to recognise them.

4) PURPOSES FOR WHICH WE USE COOKIES

Analytics cookies: these cookies collect anonymous statistical information that helps OURVIEW understand how users use the website.

Functionality cookies: we use functionality cookies to store information provided by the user (for example, when entering data in forms, so it doesn't have to be submitted each time the user wants to carry out certain actions).

Advertising cookies: these measure the effectiveness of our advertising and help us decide how to optimise it according to users' preferences and behaviour.

Third-party cookies: these measure the success of applications and the effectiveness of third-party advertising. They may also be used to personalise a widget with user data.

You can find more information about cookies at www.allaboutcookies.org

6) SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLS

Our site includes social media tools such as like and share buttons. These tools may collect your IP address and the page you are visiting on our website, and set a cookie to make sure they work correctly. Interaction with these tools is governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.

7) SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Cookies are not the only way to recognise or track users of a website. On certain occasions we may use other technologies such as "web beacons" (also known as "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs").

These are small graphic files containing a unique identifier that lets us recognise when someone has interacted with our website or opened one of our emails. This allows us to monitor users' traffic patterns on our website, see whether you reached our website after clicking an ad on a third-party site, improve the website's performance and measure the success of our email and advertising campaigns. In many cases, these technologies rely on cookies to work properly.

8) PERSONALISED ADVERTISING AND MOBILE ADVERTISING

OURVIEW may work with third parties (such as advertisers and ad networks) to display advertising on our website.

These third parties use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags and similar tracking technologies to collect and use certain information about your online activities, whether on our website or on third-party sites or apps.

This information may be used on its own or combined with information obtained from other sources, such as contact details, professional information and browsing history, to infer your interests and provide you with personalised targeted advertising based on your browsing activity and inferred interests ("Interest-based advertising"). Such interest-based advertising will only be provided where permitted by applicable law and in line with your advertising/marketing preferences.

The cookies or web beacons used may collect information about your visits to our website or third-party sites in order to measure and monitor the effectiveness of ads and our online marketing activities (for example, by collecting data on how many times you clicked on our ads).

The information collected through this process does not allow us to identify your name, contact details or other personal information, unless you choose to provide it.

9) OPTIONS FOR MANAGING COOKIES, SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES AND TARGETED ADVERTISING

a. Browser Options

All internet browsers allow users to accept, refuse or delete cookies, namely by selecting the appropriate settings in their browser.
To change your settings or disable cookies, you can follow the instructions provided by your browser or device (usually found under "Settings" or "Preferences").
Below are useful links for various browsers:

b. Google Analytics

You can opt out of the Google Analytics cookie here.

Once you have authorised the use of cookies, you can always disable some or all of them.

However, if you disable cookies, digital platforms will perform differently, with a lower level of service.

If you do so for the essential cookies we set, your use of our digital platforms may be affected as the cookies we use are necessary for them to work.

If you choose to remove third-party cookies set on our digital platforms, you may have to manually configure some preferences each time you visit a digital platform and you risk disabling certain services and features.

c. Interest-based advertising

You can disable most interest-based advertising here.

d. Mobile Advertising

You can choose to refuse the use of your mobile advertising identifiers for certain types of interest-based advertising, including those we use, by going to your Apple or Android device's settings and following the latest published instructions.

If you opt out, we will remove all your data and no further information will be collected. The random ID that we (or our external partners) may have assigned to you will also be removed. This means that if you later decide to accept this type of advertising, we won't be able to continue tracking you with the same ID as before and, for all practical purposes, you will be a new user in our system.

Do Not Track:

Some browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari can transmit "Do Not Track" or "DNT" signals.

As there are no uniform standards for "DNT" signals, our website does not currently process or respond to "DNT" signals. OURVIEW takes your privacy very seriously and will make efforts to keep monitoring the development of DNT browser technology and the implementation of a standard. To find out more about "DNT" click here.

10) COOKIE POLICY UPDATES

We may update our Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use, or for other operational or legal reasons. Please visit this page regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.

If you would like further information about the use of cookies or other technologies, please email ourview.design@gmail.com.
